Size: 20 ins x 16ins inclusive of mount. Supplied framed under glass in a plain 1 inch black frame.
Inspiration: This was the night where Queen of the South beat Rangers on penalties to put them out of the Ramsden’s cup, which Queens later went on to win. I had originally done this in charcoal and white chalk, but later painted pastel over the charcoal and think I prefer this version. It was part of my 2017 exhibition ‘Flowers Fruit and Football’ at the Tolbooth, Kirkcudbright, alongside one of the preliminary sketches I had done of the same scene.
