Where painted: In the studio at home from life.
Medium: Watercolour on a ‘not’ surface paper.
Size: 8ins x 10ins inclusive of mount supplied.
Inspiration: I have often tried to recapture the ‘Essence of Sweet Peas’, the same way I did with my first attempt at painting them with no pre-drawing (elsewhere on this website). This is the first picture in a series of 4. I exhibited the first and fourth pictures in a small exhibition for the local Fine Arts Society at the Burns Centre in Dumfries.
