Where painted: In the studio at home from life.
Medium: Watercolour on a ‘not’ surface paper.
Size: 8ins x 10ins inclusive of mount supplied.
Inspiration: I have a cherry tree in my garden, but this year the harvest was zero, so I found these ones in a local park. The blue stones are from the garden path and I came up with the idea of combining them in a picture with the cherries as I though t it made an interesting contrast of colours.
