Where Painted: In studio

Medium: Watercolour on a ‘not’ surface paper

Size: 14ins x 18ins – inclusive of mount supplied

Inspiration: This is a bit of a diversion for me, as I usually only use watercolour for still life subjects rather than landscapes. The trees are based on ones I photographed in the gardens of the Baron’s Craig Hotel at Rockcliffe, although I have exaggerated the pattern of them and some of the colours I could see.
