Where painted: In studio at home based on some photos
Medium: Pen and coloured pencil on cartridge paper
Size: 8ins x 10ins including mount supplied.
Inspiration: I had remembered seeing an article in a magazine – I think it may have featured hand-made wallpaper – and the drawings were in ink with only parts of the colour filled in. I thought the style was very appealing. I was working on some sketches for the original painting and decided that I liked this one as pictures in its own right.
