Picture Name: A Goal Shared
Where Painted: In the studio at home using a photo I had taken of a tiny photo in a match programme.
Medium: Watercolour on a ‘not’ surface paper
Size: 14ins x 18ins including mount supplied
Inspiration: I had wanted to paint a version of this, as I liked the combination of shapes, and the fact that there wasn’t too much detail in the faces of the players in the background. I had started it on Boxing Day 2016, with the intention of finishing it by the New Year, (just an obsession I have), but didn’t manage to get it finished until a week later as there was a lot of work involved.
