Where painted: In studio at home from a photo.
Medium: Charcoal and white chalk on cream pastel paper.
Size: 16ins x 20ins inclusive of mount. Supplied framed under glass in a plain 1 inch black frame.
Inspiration: There are a number of old apple trees just in front of an area of Mabie Forest known as the China Field. I was trying to capture the filigree pattern of their branches.
