Picture Name: Chinese Lanterns
Where painted: In the studio at home from life.
Medium: Watercolour on a ‘not’ surface paper.
Size: 8ins x 10ins inclusive of mount supplied.
Inspiration: I grow these in the garden and they bring a bit of colour into the house during the winter. I have a few ideas for still life paintings featuring them and this is my first attempt at capturing their colours.
