Where Painted: In studio at home, the flowers from a photo and the vase from life.
Medium: Ink and coloured pencil on cartridge paper
Size: 14in x 18in (including mount supplied)
Inspiration: I had taken a photo of these sweet peas but only the top of the vase they had been in, so I substituted another vase that I have that I thought would work better in the painting. I had painted a watercolour version before deciding the picture would also lend itself to pencil and ink.
